When Jesus addressed Lazarus’ sisters, He told them “Did I not say to you, if you believe you will see the glory of God?” What glory did they see? They saw Jesus raise their brother from the dead! I would contend that God’s glory is often demonstrated by raising things from the dead. Jesus was raised from the dead, conquering death and giving us hope for eternal life. We are raised from the dead and made alive in Him. And although some would contend God is done with His dealings with natural Israel, wouldn’t it be just like Him to raise a nation from the dead. Those who, according to Romans, are beloved for the sake of the Fathers.
With that in mind we look with hope for the resurrection of the culture of America which presently seems to be on life support. Wouldn’t it be just like God to take something that looks virtually dead and raise it back to life. That is our hope and prayer. And with that we offer this little guide to assist you in addressing the issues of the day from at least a perspective that tries to maintain a Biblical basis and some basic understanding of some current trends.
